Download Control

Overview

Download control is a great tool for securing your documents, enabling you to prevent unauthorized file distribution, even when sharing your content publicly. This feature restricts visitors’ view environment to the Feat Paper viewer, enhancing the effectiveness of the Visitor Tracking feature.

How to set a download control

By default, the Download control is ON. To prevent visitors from downloading your document, follow these steps.

1. Navigate to the Document Dashboard

2. Click on the Document Setting button

3. Change the Download setting to OFF

4. Click Save to confirm

Once disabled, the download button will not be visible for visitors in the Feat Paper viewer. The change only applies to this specific document.
