Sharing Options

Overview

Once you've created a motion PDF using Feat Paper, you can share it as a link. Sharing via a link enables you to track visitors, analyze their interactions with your document, and enhance security. To share your document with a Feat Paper link, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Document Dashboard.

2. Click on the Copy link button

3. Select a sharing option

4. Click the Share the link with thumbnail button

5. Paste the copied link into a tool of your choice (email, text, a website, etc)

You can also generate a link directly from the Documents List. Hover the mouse cursor over the document you wish to share, then click the Copy link button.

When you paste a Feat Paper link, it will automatically generate a clickable thumbnail of your document. If you prefer to copy a link without a thumbnail, click the URL in the grey box.

Link types

Feat Paper offers various sharing options that generate different types of links. You can choose an option based on the recipient type, number, and the sharing tool you're using.

Standard link (with lead form)

Standard link is the most suitable option if you are sharing the document to public, anyone with a link, or unspecified recipients. If you want to collect visitor information, check the Activate the lead form box upon sharing.

• The visitors will be identified by the email address they enter in the lead form.

Standard link (without lead form)

If you do not wish to collect visitor information, uncheck the Activate the lead form box when sharing.

• Visitors will not be identified, and they will be tracked as "Unknown."

Dedicated link

A dedicated link is the best option if you're sharing your document with a specified recipient. You can create a customized link for the recipient by integrating their email address into the link.

• The visitor will be identified by the email address you enter.

Link for third-party tools

You can easily share Feat Paper documents on third-party mailing tools such as Mailchimp, Stibee, or Mail Merge. Integration is simple! Insert the copied link into the email body section and it will automatically enter recipients' email address upon sharing.

• Visitors will be identified by their email addresses sent to via a tool. When sending bulk emails, it will identify and track individual visitors.

Custom link

If you are using an email or messaging tool that is not provided as an option, you can still integrate the Feat Paper link by using custom link. To create a custom link, paste the email field symbol of your tool into the link.
